Creative Civilization has another reason to celebrate its wonderful start in 2010!Today, the San Antonio Chapter of the American Marketing Association, SA Vision, honored four visionary women at a tribute luncheon titled "Las Madrinas: The Visionary Women of Hispanic Advertising". Among the honorees were Bonnie Garcia of MarketVision, Victoria Negrete of Impact-O, Jessica Pantanini of Bromley Communications and Creative Civilization's very own President and COO, Gisela Girard.
Gisela joined her colleagues in a panel emceed by one of the founding Godfathers of Hispanic Marketing, Lionel Sosa. Gisela, currently the Chairman of the national Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies (AHAA), shared her background in marketing, the rewarding triumphs and challenges of entrepreneurship and the importance of strategic thinking.
The luncheon was the third in a series of the original "Godfathers of Hispanic Advertising" event held in 2006 for Hispanic advertising pioneers, Al Aguilar, Lionel Sosa and Ernest Bromley.
Agency President Gisela Girard was inducted into the San Antonio AMA's Godfathers Hall of Fame, joining her husband and business partner, agency Chairman and CEO Al Aguilar, who was honored in 2006.
